Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

Application Review

You'll receive a confirmation email that your application was received. Our team will review your application within 5 business days, to determine if your skills/experience align with the qualifications for this role.
Stage 2

30-Minute Phone Screen

A member of our hiring team will schedule a 30-minute phone call to review your alignment with the role, as well as your career goals.
Stage 3

Remote Assignment

Candidates will have 5 days to complete a remote assignment that simulates some of the responsibilities of their role.
Stage 4

Interview Round 1

Candidates will meet over Zoom for 90 minutes with the hiring manager and a peer to review their past professional successes/challenges, as well as their remote assignment.
Stage 5

Interview Round 2

Candidates will complete 3 consecutive interviews (in 2.5 hours) to:
  • Explore their alignment with BTNY's Core Values
  • Demonstrate competencies related to their Role Responsibilities
  • (If interviewing for a student-facing role) Meet with a group of BTNY students
Stage 6

Offer

Candidate will have 48 hours to review their offer, ask questions of the hiring manager, and negotiate compensation.
